? for the TTC'ers
How do the DH's handle the BFN's? Do they make it like it's no big deal, or get as upset as you? I know most men are sooo different from women, just wondering what their reaction is.

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
The first three months I did not tell DH I was even taking HPT's. When I did start telling him at first he did not react at all, then he got as upset asand act as the rock in our relationship.

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
DH tries not to get his hopes up because we have had a BP and then turned in to a BFN. He still gets upset. I think for him, seeing me cry hysterically is more upset than a BFN.

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
I don't tell him I test. I just tell him when AF comes and he doesn't act any different. Today he is pushing me to make a Dr appt to talk about fertility. He practically yelled at me saying "what are you waiting for! You know I want a baby NOW!" Uhhhhh, this is the most emotion he has shown since we started TTC!

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
I don't tell him when I test either. Only once did I tell him, early on. But the rest of the time I just telll him when AF comes.
I think he'd think I was nuts if he knew how much I tested.

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
He has been pretty good...He knows there is a problem so we haven't been getting our hopes up too much...I think now that we are going to an RE he may be alot more disappointed when there is a BFN.

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
I didnt tell him at first , and still really dont that I test. I will tell him after, when he asks that I was getting BFN's. He thinks its bad for me to test so often. BUT he also pushes me to test at like 3dpo...

Re: ? for the TTC'ers
At first I told him, but I think I would have drove him crazy if he knew how much I tested. I do know he was a little disappointed with all the negatives, but he stays positive for me, at least that's what he shows
