For those girls who did IVF....
I have a mild case of OHSS (was in so much pain yesterday but feel much better today!)
Have any of you guys had mild/mod OHSS and still done a transfer?
If so, did your pain get much worse after the transfer?
Just curious? Doctor said it is up to us if we want to freeze our embies or go ahead with the transfer....i'm thinking "do the transfer" but I don't want to be in hell for a month after if it works!

Re: For those girls who did IVF....
First ivf cycle i developed ohss and my re would not let me do a fresh transfer and we froze all. 2nd ivf i had many less eggs (which was done on purpose) and i developed ohss after i got my bfp. That cycle i did not have many symptoms prior to transfer and my E2 levels were in a good range. It was pretty bad and was hospitalized around 8 weeks overnight. You should def discuss further with your doctor. In my opinion it should not be your decision, it should be up to your re if you are well enough to proceed. Ohss is no joke! Wishing you lots of luck!!

Completely agree! As a patient, you are too emotionally invested in this to make a decision,. Your RE should be the one to decide what's medically best here.
Good luck!

i had mild OHSS and was able to transfer. both embryos implanted and the OHSS got worse for about a week until one of the embryos stopped developing (blighted ovum). rising HCG does make it worse so for me at first the HCG from twins made it worse but then since i only ended up with one growing embie it regulated and i was OK. i never ended up with any treatment for it, i was just very uncomfortable. good luck!

I had mild ohss and was able to transfer. I didn't want to bc I was so uncomfortable, but when my 5dt rolled around, I was feeling better.
