For those of you that had the Level II at NSUH Manhasset
I've heard that some of the techs are a$$es...and I'm sooo nervous I'm going to get one and recently I can't deal wtih rude ppl and might have a throwdown with her right then and there....my tech for my ultrascreen was really sweet!!!
So I'm conducting a non scientific experiement...my appt is first appt next Monday morning at 8AM...anyone have their appt in the AM and have a mean tech or a nice one....
I'm bored and need something obsess over for my Friday

I didn't like my tech for the ultrascreen. She was hard to understand and really didn't say much to DH and I even though we questioned her.
Our time with the dr was much better!

the techs for both the u/s and level II were nice but not like exceptional or anything but the doctors that we had for both tests were very nice and answered all questions

I had a 7:30a appt for the ultrascreen and the tech was really good. She offered info, answered questions, and was thorough. She was not exceptional, though and the doctor I had was HORRIBLE. The only thing the doc said to me was you understand that this is a screening and can not offer a diagnosis of down's. Thanks

My techs were awsome there.. sometimes on the quite side but i just pryed the information out of them!!!

I just had mine done 2 days ago and had a great tech...she gave us 10 pictures and took her time!!!! she explained everything and even rewinded the tape to show us our little one yawning!!!! her name was Gina and she was great!!!
I also heard good things about Ala (not sure of the spelling)...
Wanted to add that my appointment was at 1:30pm not in the morning...

I have mine next week, right before you so I will let you know. The tech that did my ultrascreen was just ok. Dr was just ok as well.

Dr Lewis and Dr Bernasko are awesome doctors..really friendly and very good at answering all of your questions...
One tech, I forget her name, I want to say sophia or sophie but Im not sure, was really really nasty...I had her twice and she had the same personality both times. She had a russian accent I believe....
There are a lot of nice ones though...
I actually had my Level II and Huntington Hospital. The doctors are the same from NSUH Manhasset. The good thing is that you can ask what doctor will be there when you make the appointment and the doctor himself does the scan. Dr Bernasko is really awesome.

One of the OBs in my practice told me Dr Bernasko is not there anymore...and he was really nice too.

I already told you my experience there, my ultrascreen I had a really nasty tech. For the level 2, our tech was really nice ( i can't remember her name) but cheap with the pics only 2 Also there was a new dr who came in, and she was young and nice too.
