for those of you that started taking meds for IVF but stopped
because you weren't responding to them, how long did it take before AF showed up? I stopped taking the meds the end of september and still no AF.

Well I stopped taking meds because Beta was negative, and AF showed up 2 days later. What meds were you on?

I was taking gonal-f twice a day and menopure once a day.

Hmm, these are both for stimulants of follicles/eggs, so I am not sure why you still have not had AF. If I am not mistaken, AF usually gets delayed when you take suppressants. Have you spoken to your RE regarding this?

No, not yet. I asked him when he told me to stop taking them and he it could take up to a few weeks, but I'm almost at a month. Maybe I'll call. I really wasn't thinking much of it because we're almost certain that that is it for us. I think we're done trying with all this and ready to throw the towel in, but I just thought it was weird that AF still hasn't come.

Oh I see, well you still should try to find out why AF has been delayed so long. When is the last time you POAS? I mena starnger things have happened.

I haven't POAS since August or September I think. Maybe I should tomorrow. I keep thinking about POAS every morning, but I don't want to disappoint myself and I keep figuring AF will show up the next morning.
