For those of you that switched formulas because of problems..

How long did you notice a difference, if there even was a difference.

Same here. I noticed immediately, but thought it might be a coinsidence, then the next day he was like a whole new baby.

Im crossing my fingers.... Please pray that this works. I dont want ot have an unhappy baby. Plus, its taking its toll on mommy and daddy.

It really took some time for me to notice a significant change in Hannah.

When we switched to Nutramigen she was definitely a "better" baby right away, but then developed other issues (pooping more, not liking the formula at first, eating less, etc) The doctor told us some babies take longer to adjust to the change than others.

I can honestly say I wasn't convinced that Nutramigen was helping until she was on it for about 3 weeks.

We switched from Similac Advance to Enfamil Gentlease. Within the first two days or so I noticd a difference, she was much less gassy.

We started on regular enfamil. Gentlease didn't make a difference after about a week and a half so we gave up on that. We saw a change with Nutramigen after 3-4 days and stuck with it. I personally wouldn't give a formula more than a week to see a difference. Good luck, I know it can be very stressful.

In a day the constipation/digestive issues cleared up. The reflux got worse before it got better but in a week or so it was pretty much the same - not better - not worse but he never had it too too bad. Colic stayed and just had to run its course.
