For Those Of You Who Baby Proof Your Home
who did you use? Can you recommend that person to me? Also, what's the cost? Or can you give me any suggestion about how to do it on my own?TIA

Hye Opal sorry I didn't get back to you - we were in Fireisland all day and I'm a little shot!
Ummm - let me think of his name.
Todd --- from All Safe Baby Proofing.
Let me find his number.
He was great - came through the house and we went over what he thought needed babyproofing - and what I wanted done.
I got ALOT done for 700!

Let me run down some things he did for me so you know!
I have a colonial:
Two gates - one at the top of the stairs - one at the bottom. The one at the bottom - he built some contraption so that he didn't ruin the bannister.
All of the cabinet locks on the kitchen counters
A lock on the sliding glass doors that is high up so Jack just can't flip the latch up and walk out.
A guardian lock on the front door so that Jack can't just walk out the front door.
He secured furniture to the walls for me.
he put a lock on top of the basement door so that JC can't open it and fall down the stairs.
He put latches on all of the bathroom doors since I have the handles that are easy to get into
Ummm - let me think what else and I'll add it to this post!
It was def. worth the money - he did it right and I don't have to worry about anything now!

Wow, this great!! I am getting so nervous about Ella becuase she's trying to reach for the knobs on the stove. I really do not want any accidents so I told Dh if it is the last dime I have I would like to baby proof te house asap.

You did the right thing. I wish I didn't wait this long. Iam definitely going to contact the company tomorrow.
I know DH doesn't have the time or the patience to install a gate much less to take on the project of doing the entire house himself.
