For those of you who have done the Disney vacation....
I have some questions. How far in advance did you book it, and what website did you use? Also, for a family of 5, does anyone have a rough estimate at cost? Thanks so much!

You can book online at the disney website. I've booked a month in advance or several months in advance. Cost depends on where you stay. www.mousesavers.com is a helpful site, as is www.disboards.com

Re: For those of you who have done the Disney vacation....
Those two sites mentioned above are really great - you can get lots of codes on mousesavers. When are you thinking of going - Aug/Sept they are offering free dining (they give you the dining plan for free - which includes one counter service meal, a table service meal and a snack for free).
Disboards is also great - it is a posting site for disney and you can find absolutely everything there.
I also like Allearsnet it is a great site - you can find menus for every single counter service and table service meal in WDW - which is helpful to determine where to eat and for budgeting. You can also get rehab schedules there so you can see what will be closed when you are on your vacation - it also has a ton of other info.
We are going end of September when there really aren't any discounts (we are missing out on free dining by a week). So we booked with AAA - you should price around - unless there is a code disney is offering the only other place to get a discount is at AAA. But you might have to book early with them. They have X number of discounts per resort and when they are booked then you might as well book thru disney directly. And if you book thru them and a better code comes out they will apply the code to your booking. So you get a discount either way. I always price the trip thru disney first then call AAA and check mousesavers.
If you haven't gone to WDW before or for a long time - go to the site and request a DVD - sometimes doing that will trigger them to email or mail you a discount code for certain dates.
