For those of you who moved out of state for a job...
Where did you go? N. Carolina, Virginia?
Do you like it there better now?
What's it like to teach there?
How are the housing prices?
Thank you!

1. California 2. yes 3. The answer to that question could take all day. If you're interested in moving out here, FM me and I'll go in-depth. 4. Just as high as LI, except you get a newer house with a smaller yard for your money.

1. North Carolina 2. LOVE it here!!! 3. Teaching here is rough--the salary isn't anywhere near what I made in NY. But the FEELING of the school is different. Where I worked in NY, it was "every man for himself". Here, people are always happy to help me out and share their resources with me! 4. Housing prices are starting to rise--but we live in a 5 bedroom house that we paid under $300,000 for.
I know you said you've been having trouble finding a job in NY...are you thinking of moving?

Yes
Palm Beach County, FL
I loved teaching there, however I missed my family.
If my family would go down I would be back there in a heartbeat.
First year with a MS I made about 40,000. We had a huge 2bed/2 bath apt with lots of amenities for 1000 a month
