For those of you with Step-Parents
What does (or will) your DC call your step mother or father? Do you use "Grandma" or "grandpa" for the steps? Do you have another name for it?
If you don't call them grandma/pa, does that person get offended?

I let the step-parents take the lead. DH's step-mom signs cards "Grandma", so I didn't want to change that and possibly offend her.

They are Poppop and Grandpa. Would not have it any other way...but both of our fathers are not in the picture.

Hayley calls my step mom Grandma and she calls my step dad Pop

ny step father is papa mo and step mother is grandma ..(fill in her name), my mom is regular grandma and my dad is regular grandpa and my IlLs are nanny and papa

She will call her by her first name. I think my mother would stop doing daycare for me if I had her call her Grandma.

she calls everyone grandma & grandpa...
she's lucky to have so many people that love her!
not everyone has 3 grandmas, 3 grandpas, 4 great-grandmas, and 4 great-grandpas.

my stepson's old enough to call them by a title he has step-grandparents on both sides so he calls all of them grandma ________ and grandpa_______ there is no differentiation.
my son will call my parents nonna and nonno and call my husbands parents grandma --name--- and grandpa --name--

My stepmom of 18 years is now my ex-stepmom... she's "grandma J". She chose that.
My stepdad is "Papa". That's what he wanted.

Well, being that I am estranged from my mom, my stepmother is the only gma he will know - and my stepsisters kids call my dad grandpa... so its grandma and grandpa for everyone....
