For those suffering with metallic/sour taste in their mouths . . .

I found a remedy online. Mix 1/4 tsp. of baking soda with 8 oz. of water and use to rinse your mouth. This can be repeated as often as needed throughout the day. It is supposed to neutralize the taste. I tried it and it did work, but it was not long lasting, however it was a nice relief for the time it lasted. I am going to continue to do it- maybe the more often I do it, the longer the effect will last.

I also read of a suggestion to rinse wour mouth with salt water.

I have tried the other suggestions of sour candy, foods, etc. These really just make it worse after the fact for me.

I could have used this last year That taste is nasty !!!! I only drank water b/c everything else left that gross taste including gum

I had this and it was AWFUL!!! It lasted from weeks 6-12. It is still a little tiny bit there, but soooo much better.

I was brushing my teeth with pure baking soda 5 times/day and it did help a little bit.

Sugar makes it 10x worse! And milk, yuck. At least now I can have my cereal again w/out gagging!!
