For those that had a summer baby
I am due 8/6, do you think I need 0-3 bodysuits (the long sleeve and footsie ones)? I feel like at night maybe the baby would be cold, especially if we have the A/C on, but I do not know if I should wash the ones I received or return them.
Thanks!

Re: For those that had a summer baby
We have central AC so I kept him in light weight long sleeved shirts and long pants. He was born at the end of August.

Re: For those that had a summer baby
DS only slept in short sleeve onesies the first 2 months. But we never kept the central air cooler than 73-74. H was born 8/17.

Re: For those that had a summer baby
I think it will depend on whether or not you swaddle them and what temp you have your AC set on. I mostly used onesies (long or short depending on how hot she felt) b.c we swaddled her every night. Can you hold on to them and see what happens when the baby comes and return them later if you don't think you will use them once the baby has arrived?

Re: For those that had a summer baby
Charlotte is almost 4wks old, we have CAC and I keep her in short sleeved onesies day & night. We do swaddle her and I will put socks on her if her feet are cold.

Re: For those that had a summer baby
It was so hot when DS was born last year (end of June) that we had to have AC in our room. He was wearing short sleeve onesie, footsie PJ and swaddle cotton blanket.

Re: For those that had a summer baby
DD was born 8/9 and we kept her in short sleeve onesies most of the time b/c we kept her swaddled. When she wasn't swaddled sometimes we had pants on her with the onesies. My DH keeps our house pretty cold and she was fine!
