Swaddling a summer baby?
I think I asked this before...but I'm running on little patience after a horrid night....
what does your baby wear if you swaddle them in the summertime?
is it different for day versus sleeping at night?
is it different if you have A/C running?

Even with the a/c vent directly over his crib (oops), we cannot put him in a sleepslack or swaddle me without him sweating up a storm. I have tried putting him in a onesie, I've tried just a diaper...same result. I just take a receiving blanket and mock-swaddle him by wrapping it tightly around his torso only and tucking it under his feet. He doesn't sweat and doesn't freeze (b/c he has on PJs).

Miranda was a fall baby but when it was warm we had the jersey weight swaddle and used that. If the a/c was on we swaddled her in the fleece one with just a diaper or just a onesie.

We swaddle DD in only a diaper, she seems to run more on the warm side normally. We have central AC.

DD wears a onesie and I use a cotton blanket to swaddle her (in a/c).

I only use the miracle blanket b/c it doesnt overheat liKE the others do and I dress him in a short sleeved onsie and we sleep with the A/c on and a FAN.

When he's in the AC with us I put him in footie pjs and the miracle blanket.
If he's just in a fanned room it's a short sleeved onesie and the miracle blanket.
He hasn't overheated.

We swaddle our DD every night. We have AC and a ceiling fan. We use a lightweight onesie and a swaddle me - or light blanket. If it is warmer in the room we just swaddle in her diaper. She sleeps most of the night - just occasionally wakes every 3-5 hours for a quick feeding then goes right back down - she never seems too hot or too cold.

We have a fan and AC. I dont swaddle him though b/c he seems to sweat a lot when I do. He also doesnt like swaddling very much he always tries to break loose. So i just cover him with a light blanket.

Bella was born in September, but there was amonthj or two of some pretty warm days and nights.
We swaddled with a onesie and the miracle blanket...awesomeness
