For those that helped me decide what to do with the Thomas toddler bed

For those that don't know the post:

Here's the link to decide on whether to spend $269 on a Thomas the train toddler bed or go with a normal bed.

Last week we actually decided to get him the Thomas bed. I went back to TRU for DS to check it out one last time. He still loved it. But I noticed he REALLY loved the Thomas sheets and blanket set. So I didn't buy the bed and we discussed more.

We decided against the Thomas tents that go over the beds. We still use two monitors on his bed, due to his sleep apnea, and didn't want to block any view of the bed.

After weeks of agonizing, we bought a simple wood toddler bed that cost $55. And we are buying the Thomas bedding set.

Didn't see your post about this, but my younger son Connor had the Thomas toddler bed, but there was no way I was spending that much. I got it off of craigslist.org like brand new for less than half of that. My boys are big and I knew he wouldn't be in it too long. We have sold ours and he's in the twin race car bed now like his older brother. Both race car beds have both been bought off of craigslist as well. I LOVE craigslist!
