Still need to talk to DH, but probably to my Mom's. We all now cook something since the brood is growing larger and larger

I *wish* my family would do brunch!! Chat Icon

We're going to my mom's, like we ALWAYS do. Luckily, she's an awesome cook!! Chat Icon I'm pretty sure she's making turkey, pork, stuffing (yum) mashed, yams, creamed onions Chat Icon, corn, some green veggie, gravy and biscuits..we'll inevitably end up w/ a million desserts b/c that's what she lets us "kids" bring. (we have a big family!)Chat Icon

Re: For those who celebrate Easter

Most years we go to SIL & BIL's. One year we stayed home because my daughter couldn't go because she had to work so I didn't want her to be alone. I just had to decline an invitation to SIL & BIL because my best friends (MOH) daughter's baby shower is the Saturday. They live in Saratoga Springs so it would be impossible to do both.
When we go there, we eat a little of EVERYTHING as they both LOVE to cook!!!!

So this Easter will be a quiet one home. Maybe a visit to my mom's (not a big holiday for her) but hopefully I'll get to see my niece.

Ever since we had kids, holiday breakfasts are at our house for anyone who wants to come by (you know the Easter Bunny & all). For dinner, we're probably going to my mom's for ham.

My babci passed away about 2 years ago, but we always made pierogis, kielbasa, etc. She even had a cake mold in the shape of a lamb. She'd decorate it w/vanilla icing and coconut! MMM-MMM GOOD!!!!!

We're having Easter here. Normally we do ham but since we did ham for Christmas I think we're going to do roast beef.

Re: For those who celebrate Easter

My NY family is getting smaller & smaller so they are coming to my house. So, I get to cook! I guess I'm going to make a ham (I'm not a big fan) & some pasta. Though my husband mentioned yesterday that soon it will BB-Q time again. And I of course said if it's warm on Easter Forget the ham will have a BB-Q. I'm sure my family wouldn't mind! Chat Icon
