For those who do Brazilian/Keratin/straightening treatments...
When do you get your hair cut/trimmed?
Do you do it at the same time that you have the treatment done, meaning same day whether it's before or after the treatment?
Or
Do you go to someone else at a different time or different salon to have them trim/cut it?

Thanks!  I have an appt at a local salon next week and I'm debating whether I should have them cut it or go to a different salon

Thanks! I have an appt at a local salon next week and I'm debating whether I should have them cut it or go to a different salon
I always go to my girl for cuts
Too many- whoops, I cut off 6 inches instead of trimming- incidents in my life LOL

I just had it done the beginning of the month. The person who cuts my hair also did the treatment. He cut it first then did it

Jen - are you doing the Brazilian Blowout? There was just an article on AOL about it yesterday. The reviewer had rave reviews.

My hair is japanese straightened and I get mine cut by the same person that day.. it's included in the price whether or not I get it, so may as well..

Yeah, I'm giving it a try on Tuesday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this chick and salon don't F-up my hair.  I can't seem to find any info on any of the salons that use that specific product line/treatment.

I've heard 3 months. As for price, the salon told me it starts at $250 and the longer/more hair you have, the more they charge. I'll be able to tell you more on Tuesday.

Cartel in Halesite. I couldn't find many salons near me that offer the Brazilian Blowout.

I was going to do the brazilian blowout but they told me it only lasts a month and since I had a pool it would probably only last 3 weeks so I opted to just get the regular one. I think the brand that my salon uses is Brazilian express.
