Just booked an appt for the 1 day Brazilian Keratin! *UPDATE WITH BEFORE & AFTERS*
I'm excited! But now really have to color my hair before Saturday!!
I don't know if I'm brave enough to post air drying "before" pictures!!

So I went to Salon Di Domai in Copiague after Olliesmama posted she had it done there. It was completely out of the way for me (and I don't know sh*t about the south shore) but it was $175 which was $75 less than the starting price for it at a salon close to home where I sometimes get my hair cut (and to be honest I'm not sure if the $250 she charges is for the 24 hour process or the 3 day one).
Anyway, it took about two hours and honestly when I left, I was not overly thrilled. It was like I had a deep conditioner in my hair - all heavy and goopy feeling. Maybe that's how it's supposed to be but I was   and even the girl who did my hair made some comment about it not "drying" all the way.
Saturday at 2PM would have been 24 hours to wash it out but I caved at noon. I was not loving the smell - it reminded me of pineapple teriyaki marinade my DH makes in the summer that I don't like 
It still feels like my hair isn't fully "clean". I haven't used conditioner or hair product. I still have to see what happens if I let it air dry. I didn't want to on Sunday because I was worried if it wasn't great, I'd be completely disappointed with the entire process.
I usually take 25-30 mins in the morning to blow dry and flat iron so under five minutes is pretty darn fantastic.

Let me ask you...when you say a 4 minute blow dry, did you let it air dry at all?? Did you just use the blowdryer on it or did you really have to still blow dry with a brush tightly etc?

I wrap my hair up in a towel straight out of the shower, put on deodorant & perfume then unwrap (so it's only in the towel for like a minute!). Run a comb through it and use the hair dryer and brush for 4 minutes!!!
I will definitely let it air dry and not blow dry this weekend to see how it turns out. Disclaimer though since it's supposed to be a rainy weekend and usually that totally ruins my hair.
