For those who dyed their hair...
at what month did you do it? Are there any at-home products that are safer than others?
I'm only 12 weeks so I'd like to wait a while longer to do it, but wow, my greys seem to be coming in reallllly fast!

I dye my hair about every 6-8 weeks...didnt stop while I was preggo...

I had mine highlighted at 13 weeks. I called the Dr and they said any time after 12 is fine. I went to a salon so I am not sure about at home products....

I did it at 6 weeks and then at 18 weeks...but I get highlights, not an all over the head dye...

I had mine highlighted at 4 1/2 weeks...then again at 12 weeks or so...and I'm having it done again next week (25 weeks)....
I only get highlights, not full color so it doesn't touch the scalp, and I've been told it's okay...I figure my hairdresser just had a baby in March, so if she can be around it all day, it can't be that bad!

I did mine the first time at 15 weeks. I waited until after the first trimester. Iplan on going back 2 more times between now and October.

With my first pregnancy I waited until I was in my second tri.... let me tell you, I was dying not being able to get it done, my roots were hideous!!
With this one, I dyed my hair when I was like 6 weeks preggo. I couldn't stand to wait again. I also have gotten highlights since and will be going shortly.

I am going tomorrow for highlights..FINALLY YAY! I am 17 weeks.
I needed them done right when I found out I was preggo, so I have a pretty good UGLY stripe going on now!
So worth it for this little one though.

i had my highlights done at 12 weeks in the salon and will be going 3 weeks before my due date so my hair looks nice the rest of the summer

I finally dyed my hair for the first time at around 34 weeks.....i was REALLY grey!!! I did it myself at home with a semi-permanent color. It doesn't cover as well as professional, but I was too nervous to go to the salon around all of those fumes....
