For those who go through HELL bringing their dc for pics..
I have an appt. at Sears on Friday.
I am DREADING it! Last time, we went to a different sears for her 2 year pics. We walked away with NOTHING and I had a HUGE fight with the lazy photographer.
I am trying to keep good thoughts but I have a feeling we will be walking away with nothing again. She loses her mind when we go for pics. She cries, doesnt stay still, tries to walk out of the room.
I am thinking of having my dh being her in while I wait outside but I hate doing that to her. She clings to me more than my dh so I am thinking she may pose for SOMETHING without me in the room. Is that awful?!?!
Also, what do you do to get your child to take a pic? I dont usually give lollipops ever but I am thinking of trying to bribe her with one?
Should I tell the photographer just to snap? Dont wait for the perfect smile?
Please help me out! This is one of the most stressful things with Megan. And I need at least ONE good shot!

Re: For those who go through HELL bringing their dc for pics..
I found a girl at the Target in bayshore. She uses the hand held camera instead, it takes faster shots and she is GREAT at getting him to stand or sit still for a second or two.
I literally sit or stand him there, run out of the picture...repeat....And so far have gotten good shots.
Its hard, Im scared of this yr's Christmas.
Good luck....Sorry I know that wasnt the best advice.

I went to JCPenney cause they use a handheld camera.
My pics came out okay, but my 2.5 year old is a diva when it comes to pics.

I also left Sears with no pictures and a screaming toddler when I went to take 2 year old birthday pictures. The photographer was actually fabulous...but DD was not having her picture taken. I haven't been back to try again...I'm scared

Can you try to prepare her? Start snapping some pics at home? Or turn it into a game like she is a runway model or something? Maybe she sees it as more of a chore than a fun activity?
