For those who got their Federal Income Tax Refunds already..
If you qualified, did you get the additional dollars for making under 150K (married) with the check or was it sent seperately? I'm hoping to get my refund check within the next week and I wanted to know if the $1200 comes with it. Thanks

IT IS THE DATES WE WILL BE RECEIVING OUR TAX RELIEF CHECKS. IT IS SCHEDULED BY THE LAST 2 NUMBERS OF YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. IF YOU FILED A JOINT RETURN IT WILL BE UNDER THE HUSBANDS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
The check is in the mail
Last 2 digits of your SSN Receive your check by week of
00 - 09 July 23
10 - 19 July 30
20 - 29 August 6
30 - 39 August 13
40 - 49 August 20
50 - 59 August 27
60 - 69 Sept. 3
70 - 79 Sept. 10

WHAT???? I thought we we're getting it in the spring, but I may have to wait till late summer? Sadly I don't know my husband's last two digits, but wow.

I just got it in an email, don't know how accurate it is. I guess they have to sort it out somehow in an orderly fashion.

I got that email too but it doesn't seem right. In an article I read we should all have them by June.
Mine did not come with my Federal Check.

Mine did not come with my Federal Check.
That's what I thought. I read somewhere everyone who filed by April 15th would have them by June. In fact, auto spending in advertising is prying on this (hence them doing heavy add-to-skeds in the summer). HMMM

If this is accurate then we aren't getting ours until mid-September when we are on vacation.

Agreed. That's what I heard too.
Anyone that did direct deposit on your income taxes will get your money the same way and will probably get it pretty quickly.
So don't close the checking account that your income tax refund was sent to.

i don't think that email is accurate---tax rebates are supposed to start going out in may of this year according to the irs.gov site
that "chart" that people have been receiving in emails isn't listed on the site at all.
Direct from IRS.GOV
The IRS will use information on the 2007 tax return filed by the taxpayer to determine eligibility and calculate the amount of the stimulus payments.
The IRS will begin sending taxpayers their payments in early May after the current tax season concludes. Payments to more than 130 million taxpayers will continue over several weeks during the spring and summer. A payment schedule for taxpayers will be announced in the near future.
Stimulus payments will be direct deposited for taxpayers selecting that option when filing their 2007 tax returns. Taxpayers who have already filed with direct deposit won't need to do anything else to receive the stimulus payment. For taxpayers who haven't filed their 2007 returns yet, the IRS reminds them that direct deposit is the fastest way to get both regular refunds and stimulus payments.
Most taxpayers just need to file a 2007 tax return as usual. No other action, extra form or call is necessary. This Web site will be the best information source for all updates and taxpayer questions.
