For those who have DS/DD sleep on an incline..

How exactly do you do it? DS is having major gassy issues and the dr suggested that we elevate the mattress with a pillow. If he rolls around (like he usually does he'll go straight down. I'm not so sure about this.

How do you elevate the mattress so that your child isn't sleeping flat on his/her back?

For the first month and a half I used the incline wedge for my daughter. Now she uses a pillow in her crib and for her bassinett I'll fold a small blanket and let her use that.

Jacob slept on an incline until he was about 1 year because he had acid reflux. We folded 2 bath towels and put it under the mattress. We also put 2 folded towels under the legs of the crib. It wasnt too much of an incline that he could slide down.

my sis gave me the sleep wedge she used for her dd. I put it under her mattress. I did try under the sheet on top of mattress but she would slide down it. She still slides with it under the mattress.. but not as much. We started using again this week b/c of her cold.
