Anyone have a picture? If you saw my post the other day, you'd know that DS at 13 months climbed and fell out of his crib. DH insists that the mattress is as low as it goes. I personally think he's "mistaken."Chat Icon Anyone have a picture of what your crib looks like on the lowest setting? Then I can compare and show proof.

It should also be noted by way of update that the crib tent did not fit DS' crib and we have boxed it up and sent it back so we have now flipped the crib around, so the back is the front and pushed it against the wall. But I am paranoid because there is still the side that he *could* pull himself over.

The springs are level with the top of the bottom rail if you can picture that - (without the mattress on there). Sorry I don't have a picture.

My almost 3.5 year old was a monkey and she never climbed out of her crib until this past September when she was about 3.4. Her sister is a monkey and is trying to climb out she is taller than her sister was at her age though (she is almost 18 months). I think she will get out soon.

My Munire crib has a wide rail which I think makes it easier - my older DD has a pali convertible crib and it has a narrow round rail so it didn't have a "ledge" to use.

Is he tall?

My DD was climbing out of her Munire at 18 mos. My son is in the same crib and now 2 and he has climbed out about 3 times.

Are your bumpers out???

To answer the questions:

Yes, DS is above average for his height although i dont think 32" is so tall that he should be able to get outChat Icon

Yes, his ability to climb out definetly has to do with the wide "ledge" front rail...he gets a lot of leverage to hoist himself up and overChat Icon

His bumpers have been out for two months.

I just took EVERYTHING out of his crib except for a thin blanket and his light toy which is attached to the back of his crib (which is now the front of the crib.

They apparently dont make crib tents for convertible cribs. A facebook friend suggested crib rail extenders but they seem to be an urban myth. I dont know what to doChat Icon

Someone suggested I turn my crib around so the low part is against the wall. Might be an option??
