For those who have rented a party tent...
I just received my estimate in the mail and would like to know if you think this is a good deal...
20X30 Frame Tent
Side Walls (4)
60" round tables (5)
Brown Charis (50)
8ft banquet tables (2)
$473.50 and with tax (? see question below) it comes out to a total of $514.34
Did anyone else have to pay a tax on a party tent. That doesn't make sense to me. Don't they pocket that anyway?

That seems like a good price. I think we paid around $200 for a 20'x20' tent (no sides) and 3 tables and 20 chairs. but I definitely don't remember paying tax.

we just paid about the same for Clover's birthday and only got 4 not 5 tables.

I paid about that for my 20x20 tent, 40 chairs, 5 tables & linens
eta: and yes, you pay sales tax on renting the equipment
