My shower was a surprise, but I know my invites went out about 7-8 weeks before the event.

Mine went out about 6 weeks before, and the RSVP date was 2 weeks before the shower if I remember correctly .

i am pretty sure i told her when it was, because i have known for weeks when it was (as has my MIL, who was generous enough to give me this shower).
the shower is 4 weeks from YESTERDAY and the invites still haven't gone out yet.

I know/knew about both of my showers and one was this past weekend. For this past one they went out 1 month in advance. For my upcoming one this weekend 2 months in advance.

my shower invites were late getting out-it drove me nuts knowing this-i think it turned out they were finally sent like about 3 wks before, which had me a nervous wreck! but the shower turned out beautiful after all of my worrying that no one would show up on such short notice!

I hink mine went out only a month before. Which sucked beacuse we got at least 7 nos because they had another party.
