? for those who use Medela freezer storage bags for breastmilk??
Can you heat the milk up directly in the bags? I know you are supposed to let them defrost in the fridge overnight...but if I then transport them somewhere on ice, can I heat them up in a cup of microwaved water directly in the bags? Thanks!

Yes. Usually I'll run them under hot water.

I am always heating it up in warm water. I have also, in a pinch, heated it with hot water from the water cooler. Not sure if that's a good idea.
