for those who were/are taking progesterone suppositories
1. When did you stop taking them?
2. Does anyone know if suppositories can cause spotting? I have spotted twice (once last Tuesday...had a sono Wednesday and everything was fine. Then again early this morning...my next appt. isn't until next Wednesday)

i stopped at 12 weeks...i started out taking 3 a day...at around 8 weeks i was down to 2 a day and then around 10 weeks i was down to 1. I did not spot, but i know that it can cause your discharge to change in color...like light pink...was yours like red red? also, i know it is common to spot early on in the pregnancy as well. Good luck..im sure every thing is alright, but call your dr if you are nervous.

Thanks! No, it wasn't bright red. It was pink, and seemed to be pretty much an isolated incident, so hopefully it was not a big deal.

I stopped around 11 weeks. I didn't have any spotting.

I was supposed to take them for 12. I stopped at 9 or 10. No spotting for me.

I stopped around 9.5 weeks and had some spotting then which dr. said was normal.

I stopped using them at 12 weeks and I did not have any spotting!

I had spotting - i actually ended up switching to PIO because the supps were irritating my cervix.
I stopped at 11 weeks I think
