Progesterone suppositories?? TMI!
Ok, so my RE prescribed progesterone suppositories that I am supposed to start today. They are refrigerated and look like little bullets, but there's the pharmacy didn't include any instructions. I inserted one myself and literally within 10 minutes I felt it leaking out. Am I doing something wrong?? How am I supposed to use these things? I literally took it out of the wrapping and inserted it like a tampon - is that right?

Yeah but she wants me to do one in the AM and one in the PM. I feel like I must have done it wrong because it felt like it all leaked out within minutes. Any tricks I should know about?

I know, they are nasty, but what you are experiencing is normal. I did them 2x a day too, I would try to do the morning one at a time when I could sit for awhile after inserting it, but there was always a lot of leakage. Its not all coming out, don't worry. You just have to wear a panyliner. I never had an issue with progesterone levels.

Re: Progesterone suppositories?? TMI!
I did it in the morning and at night. In the morning, I would get up about an hour before I needed to get up for work and insert it. Then I would go back to bed until I really had to get up. The hour helped with the leakage.
At night, i just did it right before I went to bed.
Yep, wear pantyliners as PP said.
