For those who's husbands had the SA done..

My dh had his semen analysis done this past Friday..I was wondering when we should call for the results? I remember the doctor saying that they call you only if the results are abnormal but I dont remember her saying how long it usually takes. Should I give a call today or wait longer? TIA

ours took a few days, and he called to tell us that he had sperm like superman

They should call regardless the results.

They were back in about 3 days. They called me when they were back.

I think ours took about 3 days too -- call and ask. If they aren't ready, they'll tell you when to call.

They probably will NOT call to let you know the results are in.

My DH had mine done at the same place as you. It has been 3 and 1/2 weeks and his results are not in yet. They think they are in, but that Dr. San Roman ( the head honcho) has not signed off on them yet and my Dr. ( Bray) was going to try and get them for me by next week. So patience...it could be a while.

My DH went to Quest diagnostics and had the results within 24 hours
