For those with United Healthcare Ins & taking prenatals
Which prenatal are you taking & what is your co-pay? I was taking samples from the dr for Citracal + DHA but when I went to the pharmacy they wanted to charge me $125 for a 90-day supply/$50-for 30-day supply! I want to ask the dr to change the prescription but would like to know what everyone else is taking. TIA

I have united healthcare. My dr prescribed Citracal but the pharmacy substituted Cal-nate and it costs $5 copay each refill. I think each refill is 30 days. I had no clue it was sub until I recently read my bottle...I guess it is fine.

I have United Healthcare...with my old employer my prenatals (Prenate Elite) was $25/month. Now with my new employer it is 100% NOT covered so I do mail order. For a 90-day supply I pay $86.

Definitely look into the mail order. It is so much cheaper and ask for 90 days
