That was beautiful!
I have lived through the death of my former fiance who I was engaged to for 5 years and with him for 8 years all together. When I see the outpouring of love & support from everyone here it makes me feel really good because I know how much it would have meant to me at that time.

It was very tough then as it was a slow deterioration and very hard to see and I was only 33 years old at the time.
Now, 10 years later I look back & I am ok with it because I know he is no longer suffering or in pain as he was. I also believe that he has always been my angel watching over me because after having had brain surgery for seizures, a mini-stroke, and being hit by a car while walking I don't know that I should still be alive but I am. My daughter needed me here so he kept me here & safe and then my angel sent me my angel on earth (my DH) because he knew that he would take good care of me and treat me right.
I am sorry for rattling on here and hijacking this thread. Guess I am tired & should get to bed.

kind of a sad story but true a wonderful one. As the Garth Brooks song goes...."I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance"...and I wouln't have missed it for the world.
