went to see it at the dealer
pros:
LOVE the look of it, inside and out!
price was good
not bad gas mileage for an SUV
cons:
I had a Ford once and swore - NEVER again

I want one soo bad. DH and my father won't let me get a Ford I trust my dad because he owns an auto body but I really have no idea what the deal is with them.

i think ford makes good trucks ( the F-series pick ups) my dad always buys ford trucks and has good luck with them ( although he likes getting a new one every few years, so hes probably never had one long enough!). but their cars are another story. i used to drive a ford ZX2, and it had only about 50 K miles on it, and was starting to have problems (the alternator died on the way to my bridal shower!). i got rid of it because i wanted something bigger.
i ended up with a 2006 toyota RAV4, a small SUV. i LOVE LOVE it!! it gets awesome gas mileage for an SUV, and its very comfortable to drive. my very first car was a toyota corolla that had over 100 K miles on it and basically refused to die! so i know they'll last.
so, if you're looking for a small SUV/crossover, i would definitely check out the RAV also.

I have a Ford Escape for over 2 yrs now and never had a problem with it.....I love it!! I may get the Ford Edge when my lease is up.

I have the Ford Edge and I love it! I have had it for about 2 months so far and I don't have any complaints. I love the way it looks and drives. My father works for Ford, so I got a family plan and paid less money for it.
I also drove a Ford Escape and a Mustang in the past...both great cars/trucks. My dh ONLY drives Mustangs.

My DH only has fords. I have the Edge (I recently had an explorer). I love it. Love the vista roof. No complaints about anything.
