formula babies
What brand of formula do you give to your baby?
Do you give the liquid or powder?

Re: formula babies
I give DD Good Start.
I use whatever is on sale and whatever is the cheapest with the formula checks.
Going between RTF and powder hasn't made any difference on her.

Re: formula babies
Gentlease and it only comes in powder.
When I used Similac, if I switched back and forth between RTF and Powder, DS would not handle it well. But if I used JUST powder or JUST RTF he was fine.

Re: formula babies
They started on enfamil Lipil when they were born but spit up a lot so i moved them to enfamil A.R. with Lipil and that worked like a charm. They only get Ready to drink formula. I found the powder made them incredibly gassy, but i do use it once in awhile when we are out and about.

Re: formula babies
We used Similac Advance in powder form for about 10 months. Then I bought Target brand formula (which is similar to Enfamil) and she did fine on it and it was sooo omuch cheaper!

Re: formula babies
Matthew is on Enfamil Lipil and Christopher is on Enfamil Nutramigen, both are ready made. I tried the powder with Matthew but made him constipated, but do use it now and then

Re: formula babies
I use Sam's version of Enfamil Lipil. Can't beat the price,,,20.00 for a 50 oz can and it is the same EXACT thing as the name brand.

Re: formula babies
I always used Similac Advance powder. I buy the 36 oz at Bj's ($27.99)or the value size 30oz at Target ($22.49).

Re: formula babies
we you Similac Isomil (soy formula) powder. It is 27.99 in BJ's and they always have $4 off coupons in their books - and then an additional $5 off from the coupons that Similac sends. (this is also for regular Similac advance). that container is much bigger then what they have in other stores.

Re: formula babies
My son has been on Similac Advance with Iron since he was born. I have only used the ready to feed. I get $5 off coupons in the mail all the time which helps when I'm buying the cases. I tried for one day the powder and he was soo gassy and uncomfortable the whole day that I've never tried the powder again. Maybe I will try for one day again since he's older but neither of us were too happy when I was trying feeding him with the powder.
