Those with babies who have milk/soy protein allergies..formula question please-
can you roughly tell me how much you spend in formula? I am trying to get a little respect here in my home.
If that husband of mine brings one more thing into this house that I can't eat while nursing, I am throwing him out. I want to throw in his face how much we are saving by me nursing.
He works in a freaking restaurant...he can eat whatever he wants! Why does he have to bring it home
thanks!

Well, depending on the month, and where I was able to get the formula, sometimes it could be as high as 700 dollars a month. But, I'd say more approximately 200 a month with all the free formula we've gotten from the amazing mommies around here. But that's still a lot of money!

You would have to be on Nutramigen right? So, it would probably be about 200 a month. Roughly, depending on how much he eats.

Not necessarily. My daughter is allergic to Nutramigen, as well, and is on prescription Neocate, which is not covered by my insurance. It can be anywhere from 140 bucks for four teeny cans to 200 dollars for the same four teeny cans. Depending upon where you get it from.

We're on Neocate which is covered by our insurance, so it's a $40 copay each month.
I have heard of quite a few people who had Alimentum or Nutramigen covered as well.

Our insurance company pays, but if I had to buy it in the stores it would be over $300 a month.
