Formula question...
I am actually BF but plan to use formula on occasion. I keep getting samples and coupons in the mail for various types and brands of formula. Does it make a difference which one I use? Can I use different brands as long as Jesse will drink them or is there a reason you have to use the same brand all the time?

Re: Formula question...
I know my dr isn't keen on changing formulas and says to stick to one kind. The babies stomach/digestive systems can take a week to get use to a type of formula and you can see some weird things in that week - spit up, crankiness, bowel movements, etc.

Re: Formula question...
i would ask your dr what they recommend. i BF anthony with a bottle here and there. i was never very good at pumping so i used formula for the times i wasnt around. it took us 3 formulas before we found one that agreed with him.

Re: Formula question...
Its not a good idea to keep switching formulas b/c babies have to adjust to it, if you are going to use formula, you should use the same one unless your dr. tells you otherwise, everytime you do a new one, the baby has to get used to it
