Found some good toys for chewers

If your dog is a really aggressive chewer, these might not be for you. But a lot of people who I know who have Labs have had success with these. They have a guarantee that they'll replace the item once for free if it's destroyed.

I bought all three from Amazon and got free shipping also. The material is funny - it's like a Kong but harder, since it's solid. They bounce pretty well too but are still somewhat flexible and soft so they can get a good grip on them.

This one I liked because you can put something in the middle like peanut butter or pieces of apple or carrot or something.

Brinkley loves balls, but he especially likes the ones he can get a good grip on or that have ridges. We haven't given him this yet, we're holding this one until he gets bored so we can give him something new.

This one we gave to him first, because he's been missing a bone. Nylabones and even Gumabones make his gums bleed so we were looking for something he could chew on that wouldn't break into pieces. Not easy to do. He likes the Kong because of what's in side, but doesn't spend time chewing on it.

So far, he's interested in it and gnawing on it. I checked it after about an hour and a half of chewing last night, he didn't even make a dent. So far so good!

Good to know. My dog destroys almost everything. It's mostly Nylabones (which get abused as well) and Kong toys for her.

Thanks.

We may have to look into this as both Arnold and Shelby can distroy Kongs.

Maybe this will work... Chat Icon Chat Icon

Hmm. If they destroy Kongs, this might not be for them! That's amazing. Some powerful chewers you got there.

I can't even begin to explain what they can destroy.

Their jaws are just so powerful, it's astounding.

They broke off a chunk of cement. How many dogs do you know of that will or can do that and not hurt themselves or break a tooth?

Yeah, good times.

None. 'Cept yours. That's crazy!! They must be pretty good at tug of war too.

You should like, put a bit in their mouths and make them pull you around on a sled or something. Chat Icon I mean, what the heck can you give them that they're not gonna devour?
