Four Restaurant in Melville?
Has anyone been to that new Restaurant on 110 called Four? Going tomorrow for a friends birthday. Hows the food? Does it turn into a lounge or club at a certain time or its always a restaurant? Thanks

The food is great and the atmosphere is really fun.. The drinks are amazing.. It is a pricey place though but well worth it!!!
Couldn' t tell you if it turns into a club but we had reservations at 9:00 on Saturday night and by the time we left it didn't look like it turned into a club but I could be wrong..

Four is great!! It's a restaurant lounge. Upscale crowd, met some of the Jet's football players last time I was there! Food is excellent. Pricey and the berry drink I think it's called the Mojavo is excellent!! As to what you should wear, people were wearing their work clothes so business attire is fine and there were alot of people wearing nice jeans with heals and a hot classy shirt. Hope this helps

I went a couple of weekends ago.
Nice restaurant: great interior and concept
Food was excellent
Service was mediocre
crowd was mixed (I wouldn't exactly consider the crowd "upscale".)
To quote my sister's boyfriend, "it's like they can't decide if they want the place to be a restaurant or a lounge."
it's worth checking out. I'm glad I went, but I doubt we'll be going back any time soon.

totally agree with this!!! I went with a somewhat large group (16 people) for lunch and the service was AWFUL!! A full hour after we ordered our appetizers hadn't even come out  . The food was great though!
I would definitely go back, just with a small party!

I work in Farmingdale, and it is NOT an upscale crowd AT ALL. I was not impressed with the food, and the prices are ridiculous.

DH's friend is one of the owners there...I guess I'm a little biased but I've been there three times and the food was good.
I never had a prob with service but that could be because we are the owners friends...
I think on weekdays its much more laid back - on Saturdays it seems more trendy. It is on the pricey side though and I don't think it turns into a club at night.
