four years ago, my boyfriend proposed to me on April Fool's Day. UPDATE:
it has been the cruelest joke ever told since   
following on the heels of that momentous occassion, I have my Nuchal Translucency sono and bloodwork today.
I am quite freaked out, b/c i have no idea what it is. I just hope little Newton is all good.    
UPDATE!
OMG my little fig newton! what a busy busy baby i have brewing in here. first, I NEVER expected the sono to be so clear, and secondly, seeing moving it's little hands and kicking it's little feet was such an experience. both totally foreign and something so natural at the same time. and I am happy to report, the feelings I had feared feeling were the furthest from my mind.
the baby is measuring perfectly. I have my regular appt with my OB tomorrow and I guess if there were any problems with the blood/sono, we will discuss them then.
I am hopeful and praying that all is well and DANG...that friggin little impaler they used to take blood from my poor unsuspecting finger would have made Vlad Dracul proud

Good luck today! I had that ultrascreen and bloodwork last monday and it is great to see the baby again...I went in with a very full bladder and I asked if I could go to the bathroom before the sono and she said wait b/c sometimes the baby will change position and the pics are harder to take. So baby was in a good position, she let me go to the bathroom and looked again-i guess now that the baby had more room it was kicking and moving all over....it's so exciting to see. The bloodwork was not a lot and they just called me today to say results were normal. It's awesome, enjoy it!
