Not sure what the question is here. Do you mean when can you turn it to face forward? If so, the AAP recommends rear facing until at least 2 years, up to the weight/height limit of your seat.

Any age child(mostly) can ride in a rear facing convertible car seat(meaning NOT an infant seat.) I switched my kids around 7-8 months but kept them rear facing until the RF limit on the Marathon(35 lbs)
