Freaking out....did not refrigerate meds!
I asked the guy who delivered my meds whether or not anything had to be refrigerated. He didn't know but told me to check the labels on the scripts. I did and none of them said anything about putitng the meds in the refrig.
I just went online to watch the injection teaching videos and see that Gonal F has to be refrigerated. I am FREAKING OUT! I got my meds a week ago and none of them have been refrigerated. Am I screwed? Did I ruin the meds?
I am about to lose my mind. Please help!

Def call the RE to see but I think I've heard that unopened meds should be fine but once opened they need to be in the fridge.
Also, the Ovidrel shot needs to be refridgerated.

ITA - most of the meds just said to refrigerate after opening...
i think that with most, you're just refrigerating so that they can last until their expiration date - i don't think it will compromise new meds at all

Call your pharmacist.
They would be the best to tell you if the drug will still be active, ect.

I it the pen or the individual vials>? only the pen needs to be refrigerated the other forms of gonal f dont need to be referigerated b/c there single doses, meaning once you mix it you either use all of it or throw the excess away. If it needed to be refrigerated i'm sure the pharmacy would have put it on ice so your probably ok.
