When I was younger, we volunteered at Ronkonkoma Little League's version.
One kid, an older boy, got his first hit and my dad was coaching first base. When he made it there (after a detour to third), looked up and my dad and said, "I've always dreamed of that hit". Talk about 
The score was always a bunch to a lot.
