Freelance musicians that work with children
Bizarre question:
Does anyone know of any friends that play instruments that are good with children?
DS's 1st birthday is December 1st and our theme is musical. We are going to have a bunch of little kid instruments there, and then some grown up ones, and my friend was supposed to come from the city and play guitar, harmonica and drums for them. He now has to fly to LA that weekend. I just wanted someone super simple, nothing crazy and fancy. I called School of Rock and they are getting back to me but I know they are going to come back with an insane quote.

Freelance musicians that work with children
check out Musical Minds (musicalminds.net) - she's also a local mom who brings in drums and other instruments to your house (or where ever). Not sure what the cost is though but it's worth a shot
