freezing sperm?
I'm not really sure what is the right board for this...but I think this is the right one, since it is about TTC in the future.
DH is about to go on life altering medications for the rest of his life. conceiving is ill-advised b/c of birth defects. We have two kids, but I always thought about 3, but not right now with daycare costs, etc. DH suggested that we freeze his sperm.
My question is...what's involved in that? Do we have to go to a RE? (I'm calling my MW monday) Is it an IUD process? I'm pretty clueless, so any thoughts are welcomed

You can call a RE and they will probably recommend a urologist. They will probably collect a few times and then freeze. Depending of the count will determine whether it would be IUI or IVF. GL
