French press?
Who has one? What do you think of it? Is it a good gift for an avid coffee drinker who doesn't already have one?
Thanks :)

Re: French press?
We prefer our Aero Press for coffee. It produces an espresso type coffee that you can either add hot water or milk to if it is too strong.

Re: French press?
We have one and love it. Use it every day, sometimes twice a day.
We have a regular coffeemaker too but that's been put into storage...we only take it out if we have company and need to make a lot of coffee at once.
The best one I've bought (we've been through a few) is the IKEA one. It's sturdy, the filter screen isn't flimsy and it has a base that it sits on. It's like ten bucks I think. If you're looking to get this as a gift for someone and you wanted to spend more, you could always get them a bean grinder as well (or if they have that already, some bags of whole bean coffee...I'm partial to Stumptown)

French press?
I'd definitely recommend one. We're very picky about coffee and DH and I agree that this is the best way to make it. That said, we don't have time to mess around with it so these days it's just the regular old coffee maker sadly!
