Fresh shrimp..how long is it good?
I bought it Sunday afternoon, they have the shell still....are they still good for tonight?

I don't know how long to keep it, but I wouldn't use it. I always cook any type of fish right away.

Fresh shrimp..how long is it good?
I bought shrimp in shell sunday, cooked it last night. Still good.
I use the smell/color check lol.

Almost all "fresh" shrimp is actually thawed frozen shrimp. I would just buy frozen and defrost the day before.
If you already have the shrimp I would just smell it and see if it still looks good. You will know if its bad.

I don't eat shrimp, nor do I cook it often  What color would mean its bad??

Fresh shrimp..how long is it good?
If it doesn't smell like salt water anymore and more of a fishy stench, EXTRA slimey, black and brown spotting underneath shell, if it's really bad it will smell like ammonia.

Thanks everyone...thankfully it was still good....I used the easiest recipe from pinterest...melt a stick of butter, put a sliced lemon and shrimp on the pan, sprinkle with a packet of italian seasoning...bake at 350 for 15 minutes....my family LOVED it!
