Friday Dose of TMI...and I'm bored at work
OK, when you guys BD, do you spice it up a little with some fun in the beginning...
The reason I ask is this...DH and I like to spice it up a little to start off, but a lot of what we do would use saliva....you get where I'm going here....
Anyway, I heard saliva isn't good for sperm, but I really don't want to make BDing soooo monotonous....so have you ladies stayed away from the Saliva while TTCing????
I thought this was a good topic to talk about on a Friday at lunch time

I have gotten pregnant multiple times while "using" saliva. On the other hand my DH has been tested and his sperm is top notch so that might make a difference...

Thanks!!! I was just wondering, I just don't want to be insane about the whole TTCing, but I think I've already gone to the dark side, but I still want us to have some fun with it!!!

I heard this too!!! I could never tell if it was a serious convo though so don't quote me. The person who mentioned it is an RN and said that it "waters down" the sperm. It's sort of logical but I don't know!!!

same here... DH already *knew* we were trying, so it's not like he expected to be seduced or anything like that.
Ha ha...DH knows were Trying too, but he's in the school of thought as I want this to be fun and not a chore..which I get...the days that I'm peak we don't use saliva or anything like that....on my high days (I use the monitor) we tend to have some fun with it....

I've heard the same thing about the saliva. I got pg with DS and we used saliva for some of the activities. So who knows.
This time around since we are having trouble TTC we are very "hands on" when it comes to O time. Hey you never know right lol.

What is the difference between fertil days and peak days!

I"m using the monitor, so it gives you a few high days which you can gear up and start BDing and then two Peak days which basically means you need to have a BDing marathon on those two days...
