anyway, My DH and I really wanted to go back to Aruba this year but until I get a new job, we arent going anywhere! 
I can just imagine sitting on this beach....

That happened to me with NewEgg also! I ordered something midday and the next morning, I searched my email for the confirmation that they charged my card - and instead got the tracking number - it was delivered the next day!
I prefer dealing with them and I love their reviews feature also.
On an unrelated note, there is a woman who speaks like Mrs. Doubtfire in my office. I'm not even kidding that she comes in every morning and says, "HelllooOOOOOoooo!!!"

It's crazy! Like Zappos used to be (still are? havent ordered from them in a while.. I think they tanked the free shipping)
This will be the 3rd HD in 2 months. (I'm a laptop abuser and keep it on 24/7/365 so I can RDP to it from work.  ) Original HD - got reeeeeeally slow and started clicking - it was a Sunday night so all I could do was pull out a HD from another old 'backup' laptop. So I've been using backup laptop HD (which is probably 5 years old at this point) and I can't ignore the clicking I've been hearing. I'm taking a proactive approach this time. You know what they say about the shoemakers children having no shoes. 
Get Mrs Doubtfire a cream pie.

I hate that hard drives don't last as long as they used to. I had one die on me a month ago and when I looked at the built date, it was 9 years ago. Nine years! They should last at least as long as a good warranty - 3 years - don't you think?
What kind of laptop? Do you think poor heat dissipation played a part? I remember how terrible the heat issues were with the Dell Latitude "D" series when it first came out. Burning people's wrists and whatnot.

It's a cheapo 500 buck Dell Inspiron B120. The original hard drive was good for 3 years - I bought the laptop in Jan 2006 and it went in February. I can't complain considering probably in those 3 years it's only been off for a month if you add up all the small periods of time it was off for one reason or another. (travel, etc)

Just took a brisk walk outside... Yea, it's cold! The snow should be starting by me in about a half hour.
So you put the jacket away already? Wow, I never put it away! All my coats are in the same closet for every season.
Maybe if you do 20 jumping jacks and run to your car, it won't be so bad.
