What is the difference between getting out of a ticket for speeding and getting out of a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot?

Easy-
There is NO excuse for parking in a handicapped spot if you are not handicapped.
Speeding - tons of excuses.

Speeding shouldnt be downplayed though. Not sure what kind of speeding we're talking about, but there are certain excessive speeds that put the driver and others around him in danger.

I actually parked in a handicap spot once, NOT realizing it was a hanidcap spot. It was not properly lined and no sign (all the other HC spots were lined and signed)
I tried to fight the, because I did not realize it as HC and could have easily parked in the next spot. I am NOT that lazy to walk & would not purposily take a spot someone needs!

The difference is that speeding can be dangerous. Parking in a handicapped spot, not dangerous.
I also think the difference could range from $75-$300!

IMO, anyone who parks in a handicapped spot and is NOT handicapped should be TOWED! I also HATE when lazy azz people park in the fire lane right in front of a store 
I went to S&S today and this woman, early 30's TOPS parks her monster SUV right in front of the door, walks right in, no one waiting in the car! W T H?? I could maybe understand it if it was pouring down rain, snowing or 5 degrees out. and here's the worst part, there were TONS of empty spots 20 feet away  SO LAZY!!!!!! I so wish I was a cop sometimes so I could give these a-holes tickets! lol
