fried pickles

I saw a picture of fried pickles last week and have been craving them since.

Where can I get them in Oceanside/RVC/Baldwin area or near Roosevelt Field? I know Joes Crab Shack used to have them but I don't see it on their online menu.

I've had them at grillfire and they were delicious. I've also had them from hooters and hurricane wings. Not sure either of those places are near you. But check out the grillfire in rvc.

Re: fried pickles

You can get Fried Pickles at any Smashburger. There is one in Wantagh, New Hyde Park, and Hicksville (which would be closest to Roosevelt Field).

I agree!

Also, I know this is not in the area you wanted, but Smokin' Al's in Massapequa has delicious fried pickles too!

wanted to mention that in a pinch, you can buy them frozen at Target. Their brand Market Pantry makes them and they are actually pretty good. I think Stop and Shop brand sells them frozen too Chat Icon

I ended up getting them from J Pauls on Merrick Rd. They were the spears.

I'll have to go try Buffalo Wild Wings one day during lunch since they are not too far from my job. I forgot about the one on Merrick Ave by Eisenhower Park.

Thanks all!!

I went to the Hurricane's by Roosevelt Field (on Stewart) and they were tasty but more breading than pickles so I don't think I would get them again.

I'll have to try BWW or Chili's next time the baby craves them.

Re: fried pickles

I had them last week at Texas Roadhouse. They were pickle chips and super thin. They must have used a mandolin or something to cut them. They were just ok.
