Friendliest city for dogs...
Burlington, Vermont!! We were there for the long weekend, and Ebony was welcome everywhere. So many outdoor coffeeshops, cafes and restaurants and nobody had a problem with our 98-lb. lab sitting with us while we ate or drank. Not only that, waitresses would bring over bowls of water for him, and almost everyone on the street wanted to pet him. Church St. is all pedestrian traffic so there are no cars to worry about.
Anyway if you want to travel with your pooch, Burlington is very dog-friendly!! And a great little city besides.

Uh, I can't take Ebs on LIRR so I wouldn't know, but I don't get very welcoming reactions from anyone when I have a 98 lb. lab with me and I want to sit at a cafe around here....

yeah LI is SO not dog friendly.
thats why we moved here. its ridiculously dog friendly
theres not many places you CANT take your dog... regaurdless of size
