From pregnancy boards: Bringing baby home...
if the umbilical cord is still healing, how do you put the baby in a onesie? Someone told me that you need an undershirt, and seperate pants, because the onesie will affect the baby's belly button area...anyone know what to do?

I was never a huge fan of the side snap tees... I was just careful with the onesie. I also folded her diapers down on the top until the stump fell off.

The side snaps ride up but we used them without much problem.....maybe if you use a onesie you can put a piece of gauze over the stump?
