Front load washer question?
DH and I are building a house down south and the only appliances we need to purchase are a fridge and a washer dryer. We definitely want to get the front load washer. Anyone have any recommendations or any problems with any? Thanks

Love my whirpool Duet. It's terrific. Has great features, spin is extremely strong (you can change that for delicates) and saves so much drying time!

I have the Whirlpool Duet as well. Only the HT model comes in pewter and I had to get that to matcch my appliances. I love them! An entire load of laundry is dry in 35 minutes and the normal cycle takes 40 in the washer so you don't get that back up in having the dryer cycle a lot longer than the washer cycle when trying to do multiple loads. I just got the washer- I love it. I still need the dryer because although the washer has a large capacity the old dryer can't handle all of it.

We have the Kenmore by Whirlpool one and we love it.
We had to get it when our Maytag Neptune died. The Maytag one is horrible, it grows mold in it and there was a huge class action suit against them.

YIKES! My aunt and MIL have the Maytag Neptune. I know my MIL's dryer was acting up and the clothes were taking about two hours to dry. I don't remember what had to be done to the dryer.

We just got this one (with the matching dryer). It's the LG and comes in 3.42 and 3.7 cu ft. I haven't used it yet (plumber comes to hook it up tomorrow) but it looks really pretty
